RVX Ultra Performance, the latest addition to the Xtreme series, makes its live debut at Hannover Messe.
This is the highest performance fixed speed compressor within the RVX Series, equipped with the Xtreme Suite of Technologies. It is designed to reduce energy costs and ensure eco-sustainability in the battle against global warming.
The RVX UP vane compressor is available in 45, 55 and 75 kW versions and is the flagship of the RVX series. It combines Xtreme Injection Technology, Xtreme Thermal Management Technology, Xtreme Oil Recovery Technology, and Xtreme Communications Technology, to communicate intelligently with IoT 4.0 Maestro XC controller to guarantee a compressor with the ultimate level of performance.
Data shows that the RVX UP has the highest efficiency and energy savings of the compared to competitor machines of the same power. “A truly significant figure, if we consider that it is a fixed speed machine designed to operate in a continuous cycle”, continues Capoferri.
The core of the series is Mattei’s patented Xtreme technology which is based on four innovations: the Xtreme oil injection technology, which reduces oil circulation by 50% by creating a veil of atomized V-Life Xtreme synthetic lubricant in the drained oil return system, offering greater energy efficiency and eco-sustainability; maintenance-free oil recovery technology, which uses a smart solenoid valve to reduce recirculation losses and improve compressed air quality; Xtreme thermal control technology with oversized radiator coolers which, at 45°C, include an electronically-controlled thermostatic valve and an independent cooling fan guided by PM variable speed drive, to ensure precise operating temperature control over a wide range of ambient temperatures and capacities; and finally the Xtreme communications technology which, thanks to the Maestro XC 10” touchscreen control panel, meets the requirements for IoT and Industry 4.0, communicating operational and historical data in real time around the globe.
In the RVX UP, the trim levels allow you to make the most of Xtreme technology. Additionally, direct coupling ensures perfect alignment between the compressor and the electric motor, low noise, and long life, eliminating power losses and the high maintenance costs associated with the gears and belts in competitor machines.
Of note are the oversized radiator coolers designed for reliable service in hot, humid climates. Rated for operation in ambient temperatures of 45°C, they ensure optimal temperature control across a wide range of operating conditions.
The use of Xtreme Communication technology allows the RVX UP compressors to access the Mattei Cloud and be monitored remotely around the world. The constant management and control of the operating parameters guarantees the possibility of keeping the compressor at maximum efficiency and "allows personalized and programmed scheduling of any needed maintenance - explains Capoferri, who adds - a strategic advantage because end users who are aware of the situation in real time can decide when to intervene, avoiding any emergencies".
