PREVIEW: THE RVD 30÷55 SERIES ARRIVES

Written by Ing. Enea Mattei S.p.A. | 7 March 2023

Time for previews at the Hannover fair: Mattei has chosen the international setting of Hannover Messe to present the new RVD 30÷55 series.

“The RVD is the first series designed by Mattei based on a new concept suggested by market demands – explains Eng. Andrea Capoferri, Industrialization Manager of Mattei – The range is the result of focused attention on those demands and the synergy developed at Mattei between the Innovation and Industrialization departments”.

The RVD series offers a power range from 30 to 55kW, and is intended to replace the Maxima 30, AC 30÷45 and Optima 30÷45 models. It responds to the market demand of the industrial segment, and North American interest in machines of these sizes that are voltage flexible while retaining the heritage of robust construction and silent operation, in both fixed and variable speed models, that are capable of handling peak demands but also of guaranteeing constant functionality and efficiency.

The heat exchange system in the RVD series is now separate and oversized, which guarantees greater efficiency in cooling and a lower operating temperature, translating into greater efficiency overall.

The RVD series also includes a specially-designed version with advanced IoT 4.0 Maestro XC controller with 7'' touchscreen which allows remote connection and constant monitoring of all operating parameters with objective improvements in predictive maintenance.

The intelligent oil recovery system is one of the highlights of the series. The system has been designed to eliminate return line clogging while reducing the need for return line maintenance to zero. Furthermore, the timed recovery system minimizes losses and makes operation safer.

The RVD 30÷55 series can be supplied with integrated refrigerated dryer and heat recovery modules if needed.

“Collaboration with Mattei's Innovation department has allowed us to create a range whose general purpose is suitable for every market in the industrial sector, with optional air drying and heat recovery systems that can be supplied to better support the needs of the market” concludes Capoferri.
