In this unique series, modified production pickup trucks are pitted against one another. Mattei is proud to be a primary sponsor of the #13 Toyota Tundra, which is piloted by ThorSport Racing’s own Cameron Hayley. He is currently sixth place in points and a leading contender for Sunoco’s Rookie of the Year.
"We are pleased to have Mattei—who makes world-class air compressors—back on board with ThorSport Racing," said Matt LaNeve, Vice President of Sales for ThorSport Racing. "All of our facilities use Mattei air compressors for plant air, and only Mattei supplies OEM airends for our seal-coating equipment.”
With its distinct rotary vane technology, Mattei has supported automotive professionals over several decades. The energy efficiency and reliability of Mattei’s rotary vane air compressors are unmatched throughout the industry; as such, many auto shops have already turned to Mattei for their clean air needs.
"We have found NASCAR sponsorships to be an effective marketing tool for our industrial, automotive, and collision repair market," said Jay Hedges, President of Mattei Compressors, Inc. "The loyalty developed through the at-track experience for our customers and nationally televised racing is second-to-none. We’re also really looking forward to working with ThorSport Racing again."
The Fred's 250 will take place on Saturday, October 24 at Talladega Superspeedway and the Ford EcoBoost 200 is scheduled for Friday, November 20 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. The races will be nationally televised on Fox Networks.
