THE CHALLENGES OF 2025: DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDUSTRIAL RANGE AND FOCUS ON THE AMERICAN MARKET

In 2025, two new ranges of industrial products will be launched.

"2024 was a complicated year, marked by a global slowdown in the industrial sector, a trend that had already emerged in the last quarter of 2023 and which also had an impact on our business. Despite this, not only did we manage to maintain our market share, but we continued to grow—albeit at a slower pace than expected—achieving a 5% increase in revenue."

Giulio Contaldi, CEO of Mattei Group, provides a clear and detailed analysis: "While the industrial sector recorded moderate progress in line with market trends, our divisions for special applications maintained a high growth rate, allowing us to end the year on a positive note." Two divisions in particular stood out for their high performance: the aluminium sector, in which Mattei is a leader, and the fully integrated biogas conversion systems.

"2025 has begun with slight signs of recovery in the industrial sector," Contaldi continues. "Our goal is to focus on the industrial range and introduce new products. The first innovation will be unveiled at the Hannover trade fair: a new model set to revolutionise industry standards with its high power, high performance, and green credentials. We are also working on a 4 to 22 kW range, which will likely be launched in the second half of the year."

The second key focus for 2025 will be the development of the American market: "We have a new team, new warehouses, and the determination to develop custom products in the United States as well. We are aware that this poses a real challenge, as it is not the easiest market. In recent years, we created dedicated product lines and developed semi-finished products, which were then completed locally with components tailored to specific applications and the local regulatory framework. We have already established two assembly lines in the US—one for rail and one for industrial—and we plan to increase their use."
