Gas applications: G and GC compressors
By making use of rotary vane pumping technology, Mattei has just brought out an ideal series of compressors for compressing different types of gas (sweet gas, acid gas and biogas). The series of Mattei gas compressors includes G and GC standard models (the latter with integrated oil cooler) with installed power from 4 kW up to 55 kW in the stand alone version for local assembly, but also includes complete plants built to order so items can be completely customised based on the customer's specific requirements.
In gas applications it is important to have the best air quality possible and Mattei technology is capable of ensuring this standard. In fact, all compressors are equipped with a large filtration system; thanks to special filters one can obtain air purity levels equal to those obtained with oil-free systems. The peculiar three-stage oil separation system ensures the durability of filtration elements and also allows for reduced consumption of the lubricant and extremely low dragging. In addition, rotary compression ensures pulse-free gas propulsion.
All versions of Mattei gas compressors come complete with automated control of constant pressure capacity, with built in or remote radiator and gas intake device with screw or flange.
The main fields of application are combined heat and power microgeneration and production, thanks to compression of methane gas that feeds a microturbine, and gas boosting for obtaining biogas from sewage and farm waste resources.
