SUPERSTOCK 1000
Starting at 24th on the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Imola Racetrack was Dutch champion and Mattei sponsored rider, Rob Hartog. The highly promising youngster racing at the world class level came in 10th at the TT Circuit in Assen Netherlands, 20th in Italy at the Imola Circuit, 19th in the UK round at Donington Park, and currently sits at the 24th position for the Championship and with three more races in the 2016 Superstock 1000 FIM Cup.
In a day hosted by the Hartog-Jenik Team, Mattei distributors had the opportunity to meet the team and watch as their sponsored rider made his way from 10th to 3rd place. With such performance and promise, Mattei is proud to stand behind Robert Hartog.
IDM SUPERBIKE WILDCARD
This season Rob Hartog competed at the FIM Superstock 1000 but also at the IDM SUPERBIKE Wildcard event at Circuit Zolder in a mixed field of IDM Superbike, Superstock, and ONK Superbike riders. With a number of invited Mattei distributors cheering him on in the stands, Rob took home two podium position finishes including 3rd place in the ONK Dutch Superbike race.
NASCAR
In 2015, Mattei Compressors, Inc. announced partnership with ThorSport Racing and #13 Toyota Tundra driver Cameron Hayley.
With 23 races under his belt in that year’s Camping World Truck Series, Hayley finished in 6th place with 766 points and 18 top tens.
