The RVR (Rotary Vane Rail) series is Mattei's compressor range specifically designed for rugged applications and the ideal solution to meet every industry need while optimizing energy efficiency and maintaining a small footprint.

Whether for new installations or plant retrofit, Mattei compressors are available in different configurations, supplied stand-alone or can be integrated into a compressed air generation and treatment unit (AGTU). The RVR range offers five models, each available in different configurations.
RVR01, designed specifically to meet the needs of streetcars and light rail vehicles, producing compressed air from 0.10 to 0.48 m3/min, according to operating condition and selected configuration.
RVR02, designed and manufactured for the specific needs of light rail and subway vehicles, producing compressed air from 0.30 to 1.58 m3/min, according to operating condition and selected configuration.
RVR03, created to meet compressed air requirements for electric and diesel-powered vehicles, regional trains, high-speed trains, and rail maintenance vehicles, with compressed air flow rates from 0.79 to 3.30 m3/min, according to operating condition and selected configuration.
RVR04, designed and manufactured for electric and diesel-powered rail vehicles and track maintenance vehicles, with compressed air flow rates from 1.56 to 5.22 m3/min, according to operating condition and selected configuration.
Each of these compressor types is available with several types of shaft coupling and motorization (e.g., hydraulic, electric, or diesel)
RVR05 is designed spcifically to meet the needs of heavy Class 1 type locomotives. It is the most powerful in the range, with airflow ranging from 2.50 to 9.69 m3/min, according to operating condition and selected configuration.
They are available as a stand-alone compressor unit, coupled to an electric or hydraulic motor.
