BIODEGRADABLE LUBE: A NEW BIODEGRADABLE LUBRICANT MADE FOR A GREENER WORLD.

Mattei Group has developed an eco-compatible, high-performance biodegradable lubricant, Biodegradable Lube, specifically designed for its rotary vane compressors.

This achievement was made possible thanks to the experience, know-how, and expertise of the Vimodrone-based group, which has been active in the compressed air industry for over 100 years.

The lubricant helps reduce CO₂ emissions while ensuring optimal compressor performance and is suitable for both new and old rotary vane compressors.

It has a high viscosity index and is, therefore, suitable for applications operating over a wide temperature range, while its anti-wear and anti-corrosion properties protect all lubricated elements of the compressor. Its environmental impact is reduced because it is certified biodegradable according to OECD301B. This international system measures how quickly and effectively a material decomposes when immersed in water under aerobic conditions.

Biodegradable Lube is Mattei's answer to expensive Oil Free technology and is among the elements that can ensure better air quality downstream of the compression process.
