Simple and Economical Maintenance
Maintenance only involves changing the oil at scheduled intervals, cleaning or changing the air filter and cleaning the radiator. The absence of rolling bearings contributes significantly to reducing maintenance costs. These standard costs are, however, low because of the near unlimited lifespan of the vanes, rotor and if proper maintenance is performed. Over 100,000 hours of operation are guaranteed without the need to replace the compression unit.
Double Compression Unit
To achieve maximum performance, the AC 160-200-250 series is equipped with two separate compression units, both rotating at low speed, controlled by a single high efficiency 4-pole motor. This feature ensures a low rotation speed and consequently a better overall efficiency of the machine with lower maintenance costs.
Air/Oil Separation Chamber
Oil is separated from air in several stages and separation allows exceptionally low lubricant consumption. The most significant separation, the mechanical separation, is performed in the oil receiver, before the filter, by slowing down and changing the flow direction. The last separation is performed thanks to the coalescing filter, which removes residual oil vapours from the air. Thanks to this particular system, oil consumption is extremely low. The large size of the filter and the quality of the materials used guarantee its long life.
Double Cooling System
Mattei Air Centre 160-200-250 series compressors are equipped with two radiators for oil and compressed air cooling, entirely made of aluminium. The air flow, produced by the two centrifugal electric fans placed inside the soundproof cabin, passes through the radiators and cools them. The compressed air cooling circuit is prepared to be equipped, outside the soundproof cabin, with a condensate separator and electronic timed drain. The compressed air outlet temperature is less than 10K above the ambient temperature.
Equipped with Maestro XS electronic controller that allows you to control, monitor and program the compressor operation; moreover, it is also possible to remotely control the unit via PC or smartphone connection. Assuming that several compressors equipped with Maestro XS are connected together, one unit can become the master of the compressed air system, thus avoiding the need to install a master controller.
- Soundproofed R version with heat recovery kit: recovers the heat produced during the compressor's operation and makes it available for heating water for industrial or domestic use.
- Soundproofed W version fully water-cooled: it cools oil and air entirely with water and is suitable for environments where the heat produced by the compression process is particularly difficult to dissipate.
