The 14th edition of Innotrans, the most important international exhibition dedicated to transport technology, will be held from 24 to 27 September and will occupy the entire Berlin fairground. Among the key exhibitors will be Mattei Group, which will present three of the five compressors from the RVR range, specifically designed to meet the demand for compressed air on board rail sector vehicles, from light rail and trams through to freight and high-speed trains.
Showcased to the public will be the RVR01 compressor, intended for trams and light vehicles, the RVR03, dedicated to regional trains with electric or diesel traction, high-speed trains, and railway maintenance vehicles, and the RVR05, the most powerful in the range, perfect for ensuring increasingly high performance on class 1 and heavy short-line locomotives. The RVR compressors are characterized by their compact design, low noise, absence of vibrations, long life, and minimal maintenance needs, which are always crucial, particularly on rolling stock vehicles.
Alongside the RVR range, the RVT 65 compressor will also be presented, a fully integrated solution that groups all components in a single position, thus simplifying maintenance, making it faster and easier. Designed to increase reliability and energy efficiency, it simultaneously reduces maintenance costs, noise, weight, with minimal footprint, making it the ideal solution for road and transit vehicles applications.
Mattei Group's on-board proposal at the fair will be completed by a Bart Unit (Bay Area Rapid Transit), a fully integrated and customized Air Generation and Treatment Unit (AGTU).
Mattei not only deals with on-board solutions, but also provides quality compressed air for the infrastructural needs of the sector, from depots to maintenance workshops. To support this market need, a Blade series compressor will be displayed which is robust and versatile and fitted with direct coupling.
