MATTEI GAS COMPRESSORS: SAFE, RELIABLE, CUSTOMIZABLE

A range designed to guarantee excellent performance

Gas compressors are essential for pressurizing gases to allow them to be transported safely inside gas pipelines at constant pressure.

They are indispensable in the energy sector, both for upstream applications of hydrocarbon extraction and processing, and in electricity and heat production plants; They are also used in chemical processing within many industries for the treatment of technical process gases.

In more recent times, gas compressors have also become protagonists in the agricultural, food and waste management sectors, thanks to their ability to recover, pressurize and transport raw biogas that is produced via the decomposition or organic matter, wherein it is processed to remove contaminants to transform it into clean biomethane, which can then be used for alternative energy purposes.

The Mattei RVG Series gas compressors are designed to compress different types of gas: sweet gas, acid gas and biogas. The range is versatile and flexible in ranging from 4 kW up to 200 kW and is available as a stand-alone unit for OEM applications or according to customer specifications.

Each model stands out for their compactness and simplicity of installation, as well as careful engineering. All Mattei RVG Series Gas compressors are outfitted to allow automatic flow control at constant pressure. RVGC versions include an integrated (or remote) radiator and, threaded or flanged gas ingress and egress connections.

Mattei RVG Series Gas Compressor advantages:

  • Compliance with the requirements of the Atex zone directives: zone 2, Category 3G;
  • Greater energy efficiency thanks to vane technology, which allows for 15% savings in consumption and higher environmental standards compared to other rotary compressors;
  • Reduction of maintenance costs;
  • 100% duty-cycle rated for 24x7 operation;
  • Automatic gas flow control at constant pressure;
  • Multi-stage gas-oil separation system using mechanical and coalescent methods;
  • No yellow metal components; cast iron vanes and stators that resist wear;
  • Possibility to create tailor-made customized solutions, for specific applications or critical environmental conditions.
