To comply with the European Union’s IE3 efficiency level legislation, mid-range Mattei compressors (rated between 18 kW and 110 kW) will incorporate Emerson’s redesigned Leroy Somer IE3 electrical motors. The integration of these unique technologies will ensure that future Mattei compressors comply with Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS)—standards detailing the operating specifications that commercial and industrial equipment must meet.
