In the healthcare sector, compressed air is used for surgical applications (many instruments and tools work with compressed air) for different treatments on the patients (such as oxygen therapy, anaesthesia, administration of drugs through nebulizer), in laboratories, to operate diagnostic machines and equipment or even to dry medical equipment.
In the pharmaceutical sector, it is used as process air that comes directly into contact with the drugs for the following purposes: cleaning, aeration, handling, packaging and bottling. In the production lines, it is used to activate valves, pneumatic cylinders and different automations. Or directly in the production of drugs, such as in the case of the supply of oxygen to bacteria required for the production of antibiotics.
