The low rotation speed of the air end and the 1:1 direct coupling between the electric motor and the compressor ensure energy savings of more than 15% compared to other rotary compressors.
The Blade series requires minimum maintenance, the few operations required are facilitated by proper kits specifically designed to speed up the operations. Maintenance costs are low because the vanes, rotor and stator have an almost unlimited life if proper maintenance is performed. Over 100,000 hours of operation are guaranteed without the need to replace the compression unit.
Blade 8-12 compressors are equipped with electric fan with integrated inverter. Cooling fan rotation speed adapts to the working and environmental conditions, optimising performance and allowing a safe operation up to an ambient temperature of 46°C.
When the air demand interrupts, the suction and non-return valve allows the compressor to release internal pressure and run with no load. This minimises energy consumption, without the need to stop the compressor. The number of stops and subsequent start-ups is therefore reduced, to the benefit of the service life of compressor and electric motor.
The special multi-stage air-oil separation allows achieving a top air quality with very low oil residues. The integrated oil separation system ensures a content of residual oil lower than 3 mg/m³.
This solution starts the motor progressively, thus drastically reducing the power used during this particular phase.
Blade 8-12 series compressors are equipped with a Maestro XB electronic controller, whose graphic display allows constantly monitoring oil temperature, line pressure, and the enable, operation, and load hours.
